Nostalgia is all the Rage
I've found myself a new project to work on: I want to build a PC out of an NES. The one pictured below sold on e-bay for $910 USD. I'm sure I could build it for significantly cheaper... unfortunately, I'm about as technically inclined as a doorjam, so this project could end up being a HUGE waste of time and money...

Sweet Vindication!
Everybody laughs about how I'm an idiot for running Windows ME (a truly shitty operating system indeed)... but who's laughing now, WinME haters?!! MWA HAHAHAHAHA!!! Sure, I may not be using XP, but at least I don't have some malicious worm coming to get me! And for the few Apple users out there, you'll GET YOURS TOO!!! Worms and apples go together like pride and rainbows dammit! Just you wait till some ultra PC NERD snaps from all the taunting he gets from the Mac minority, exploits an Apple security hole, and craps your Jaguar Panther Puma (or whatever housecat it's named now) operating system out like a bad apple pie...

POOPIE on Corporate America!!!
I've always been anti Starbucks cause they're just another mega American corporation out to destroy local business. Seriously, two Starbucks on Robson kitty corner to each other, and somehow they're both busy? Sickening! That's almost as bad as having 3 McDonald's in West Ed (that's the MALL for you uninformed folks)... you never know when someone can't walk the two extra steps to get their fill of grease in a bun.
Anyways, I can accept the fact that brand names sell, and I can accept the fact that Vancouver is full of yuppies who find drinking extra forte grande mocha frappacrappaccinos is trendy and socially acceptable, but this is ridiculous! Who could POSSIBLY be so incompetent as to mistake a Starbucks for Haidabucks cafe? The names aren't phonetically similar, their logos are completely different, and Haidabucks is ONE coffee shop located on a native reserve in Northern BC, not a greedy multinational corporate bully! You mean to tell me that law schools in the US are so slack that even an ignoramus like the Starbucks corporate lawyer who dreamt up this lawsuit could pass the Bar?!!
People always wonder why I sneer at any mention of Starbucks. If they only knew what their 5 dollar contributions were being used for...
