My Linh and Therese had the worst luck for weather while vacationing in Vancouver. It's too bad, cause I think they might've actually liked this city if the weather hadn't been the worst I've seen since I moved here. Regardless, I'm sure there are some memories they'll never forget: fresh alaskan king crab, giant sashimi@Samurai, raw oysters@Rodney's, bubble tea@T-bar, pina colada ice cream@LeCasa, and of course a goofy tour guide that seemed to know less about Vancouver than they did (that'd be me!)... I know I won't forget the excessive gambling, the five shooters@Tonic, and the aftermath of buying Therese her sixth drink. Can't wait till I come to Montreal so I can pay you back for that one!

Thanks for the good times gals, you two are awesome!

Just wanted to spend a few seconds raging about the horrible trades the Oil made just before the trade deadline yesterday. Niinimaa for Isbister? Carter for Dvorak? Radek Who?? Sather - 1, Lowe - Raped! I think Ross put it best. The Oilers are waving the big white flag, trading away their top scoring forward and top defenceman for a bucket of pucks and a used stick. It's so disappointing to see players develop in E-town, only to get shipped out when they start showing some potential. On the bright side, we'll have someone to blame if the Oil hit the greens as early as last year...
